i have followed the your same procedures to install the plugin… when i clicked the “ACTIVATE” plugin, error occurs. It says “Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error”.. and the fatal error is ” Fatal error: Uncaught exception ‘Exception’ with message ‘Facebook needs the CURL PHP extension.’ in C:\wamp\www\wordpress\wp-content\plugins\facebook-comments-for-wordpress\scripts\facebook.php on line 4……………….”
What do i do?????? Please help!

Not sure what’s causing that my friend…
But here are couple of tips…
#1 disable all plugins, on your website, and try that and see if that fixes it..
And then start enable plugins one by one, while trying it, to make sure that it is still
working.
#2 if you go to http://we8u.com/facebook-comments/ which is the website,
of the developer who developed the plugin, and they tell you that there are some
conflicts that are in conflict… and by the way, you can post and ask for support
there, they will definitely be more helpful than me..
#3 Do you have the latest wordpress version? make sure that you do…

Also….Based on the info. that I read regarding that exception, here is what the developer say regarding that:
I receive a syntax/fatal error when I activate the plugin.
If you receive either of the following errors, please contact your webhost and ask them to upgrade their servers to the latest version of PHP:
Syntax error (unexpected ‘{‘) in facebook-comments-functions.php on line 81
Fatal error (cannot redeclare class FacebookApiException) in scripts/facebook.php on line 91
If you receive the following error, please ask your webhost to install the PHP cURL extension (a common PHP library for communicating with other websites):
Fatal error (Uncaught exception ‘Exception’ with message ‘Facebook needs the CURL PHP extension.’) in scripts/facebook.php
Make sure that you are using reputable hosting company, please email me if you need help with that…
